This essential oil is not intoxicating.

Young Living CBD Oil Review

Young Living has been around since 1993, dedicated to providing buyers with ‘pure, powerful’ products that can help improve their wellness through the use of essential oils. The brand uses a multi-level marketing structure which already kind of dissuades most buyers because of the unsavory reputation these businesses get.

You’ll notice though that there aren’t any CBD oils under the Young Living brand per se. Instead, they have a subsidiary by the name of Nature’s Ultra through which they sell a range of CBD products under the same multi-level marketing structure.

Young Living CBD Oil Review

The biggest issue you’ll face when doing research for Young Living and any of their products is that it’s almost impossible to find trustworthy reviews. With so many of their resellers looking to entice others to join the company, any feedback that’s even slightly negative is easily overshadowed by the millions of positive reviews.

Fortunately, Reddit does offer some insight as to the quality of Young Living’s CBD oils. One particular Redditor points out that because Nature’s Ultra is owned by Young Living, all of their products are automatically overpriced which turns out to be true.

Another issue is that the brand doesn’t provide any information on the chemistry of their batches. Without any sort of documentation or lab reports to support the claims that the brand makes, it’s really hard to find what you’re actually getting when you decide to make a purchase.

Young Living CBD Oil Product Line-Up

Although Nature’s Ultra has its own website, clicking the shop button redirects viewers to the Young Living website. Here, they list down all of the different CBD products unde the Nature’s Ultra brand. Presently, there are only actually six products.

They have three distinct oil choices that vary based on flavor. These include cinnamon, citrus, and cool mint which all come in bottles of 30mL. Strengths are available in either 500mg or 1000mg.

For those who want to use CBD for its alleged beauty benefits, Nature’s Ultra claims to have developed a product that’s intended to improve overall skin health and appearance. The CBD Beauty Boost is basically CBD oil mixed together with rose essential oil, tamanu oil, and grapeseed oil to provide its users a myriad of beauty and anti-aging effects.

Aside from their oils, Nature’s Ultra also offers a CBD Muscle Rub and Calm CBD Roll-On which both aim to relieve minor muscle pains and aches. The Roll-On also allegedly works to soothe and calm the mind so you can kick back and relax.

Young Living Pricing and Coupon Codes

If the whole Young Living multi-level marketing thing hasn’t thrown you off already, their prices might. The Nature’s Ultra line of CBD products are some of the most expensive you’ll find on the market today. Their exorbitant prices are only made better if you decide to buy in bulk as a member.

For instance, their 500mg oils sell for a whopping $104.95 for a single 30mL bottle if you’re buying retail. Wholesale orders place each bottle at $79.95 which is still pretty expensive when you consider how other dedicated CBD vendors sell their offers for much less.

Unfortunately, if you were hoping to get your hands on just a bottle or two, the brand only provides discounts for those who sign up to be a member. Those who do get 24% off on their orders for a lifetime, and get the chance to resell the products for a profit, as the whole MLM thing works.

The nature of the Young Living business structure makes it impossible for the brand to shell out discount codes and vouchers for retail buyers. So there’s really no point hoping for a sale, a promotional offer, or a even a coupon code if you’re just an average retail buyer.

The Verdict on Young Living CBD Oil

Being the authority on all things oil, it comes as no surprise that Young Living has found it fit to take their slice of the CBD cake. By acquiring Nature’s Ultra, the brand hopes to join the leagues of other CBD vendors. But their whole MLM structure has them type-casted as just another big business hoping to make a profit.

Unfortunately, there aren’t enough buyer-generated reviews online for anyone to properly draw a conclusion about the quality of Nature’s Ultra’s oils. But even then, their steep prices just point to the conclusion that you might want to check other sources. Then again, if you’re already a member of Young Living and you want to give their CBD products a try, then there might not be a lot to lose if you decide to add Nature’s Ultra to your cart.

CBD Products

About a year ago, we noted several patients inquiring about CBD…asking what we thought of it and what brand we recommend. We began to research several CBD companies and their products. We finally landed on Young Living (YL) as the company and products that we feel are the best in the industry and best fit our practice’s values.

What speaks to us most about YL is their quality. Their products are grown without pesticides, on farms that they own, and guaranteed 100% pure by third party testing. Your wellness journey deserves the best, and YL’s quality commitment is here to support it!

YL’s quality commitment uses stringent Seed to Seal® guidelines in sourcing, science, and standards to ensure that you’re getting only the best ingredients. They own their hemp farms (most companies purchase hemp already grown from outside farms). This is important because hemp is a filter plant, which means it easily absorbs whatever is in its environment. YL grows its hemp with non-GMO seeds in the mountains in Colorado. Being grown at a high altitude means less pests and no harmful chemicals or pesticides that the plant would otherwise absorb.

We are impressed that YL routinely not only tests all of their products for purity and quality, but they ALSO have a third-party test them as well. This third-party testing is done to ensure that you’re getting a high-quality product free from solvents, heavy metals, gluten, and pesticides. This transparency makes us feel confident in recommending their products.

Another thing we like about the YL CBD products is that they smell AMAZING. Most products from other companies we tried smelled skunky like marijuana (yuck). YL’s CBD products are the only CBD products on the market formulated with Smart Spectrum™ CBD science. Smart Spectrum™ blends the CBD isolate and the terpenes from essential oils to make a CBD product that is broader and more robust. The terpenes found in essential oils can also increase the overall efficacy of the product. We have them on display in the office so you can smell next time you stop in.

Initially, we noticed that YL’s prices were a smidge higher than those of the other CBD companies we researched. We quickly realized that with CBD you definitely get what you pay for. YL has carefully aligned each of their formulas to deliver unrivaled purity and performance. Each product is carefully formulated to meet life’s little challenges. Maximum relaxation? Check. Promote calming vibes? Got it. Soothing comfort? YL has you covered.

Due to the heightened amount of stress in our society right now along with the burden of more aches and pains from working from home at makeshift workstations, there is no time like the present to give CBD a try. Since Young Living CBD products contain 0.00% THC, you can experience their numerous health benefits without the “high”.

The good news…YL has an awesome “Starter Kit” option where you can get full sized containers of YL’s 3 most popular CBD products ($278.85 value) for only $165. Ordering the starter kit makes you a “member” for life…this simply means that you get 24% off retail (so you get wholesale pricing) of any products you buy moving forward. No strings attached!

Hemp, not to be confused with marijuana, is an annual herbaceous plant that has been cultivated for eons to capture its diverse uses and benefits. Hemp essential oil is not meant to be taken internally, but blended into carrier oils – perhaps with other essential oils – to produce a soothing blend for the skin, muscles and all types of massage. This essential oil is not intoxicating (those compounds are not bioavailable in distillation), but quite special nonetheless. Its major components consist of monoterpenes and some sesquiterpenes, typically found in many aromatic plants. Laboratory analysis shows that it shares chemistry with many commonly used essential oils such as citrus, pine and basil.

The stresses and strains of over-exertion, old age and simple wear-and-tear often respond favorably to the essential oil of this complex and often misunderstood botanical. It is also supportive of various mild skin conditions, imparting a lustrous glow and radiance when rubbed in gently (blended into a carrier oil). A stream of lotions, salves, balms and massage oils containing extracts of Hemp oil are gaining new fans worldwide as the time-honored benefits of this herbal oil spread.
